The
Medicine Buddha Blessing Ceremony is a very special ritual which plants the
seeds of enlightenment of all the Healing Buddhas within our mind-streams. Long
ago the Medicine Buddha made a special vow to help all beings during these times
when it is so difficult to lead a peaceful and healthy life and to sustain a
spiritual practice. For this reason its benefits are extremely swift and
powerful.
During
the afternoon session, Venerable Segyu Rinpoche will give teachings on the path
of self-healing as it is practiced in Buddhism, and how it leads to inner peace
and the ultimate state of enlightenment.
