Our
Vision
With
the blessings of Venerable Segyu Rinpoche several thousand
individuals have participated in and benefited from the
activities of the Healing Buddha Foundation-Segyu Gaden
Dhargye Ling. Our vision for the new millennium is a Pure
Land of Joy, a Dharma community for the study and
practice of a genuine spiritual path. This community will be
a place where joy in practicing the Dharma and serving
others overcomes all life obstacles.
The
Pure Land of Joy will serve many functions. This
Dharma community will be the headquarters for the Healing
Buddha Foundation and resident lamas. There will be a large
main temple with monastery and nunnery, retreat facilities
for lay practitioners, an educational and arts center and
treatment facilities for the practice of Tibetan Medicine
and Psycho-Spiritual Healing Therapy. This sanctuary will
hold teachings, retreats and clinics and will be accessible
to all the people of our Bay Area and the world.
We
are presently looking to purchase 10-20 acres of land in
Sonoma County, California.
The
